In the end, the call of a comfy bed and a good night\u2019s sleep won out. Pity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, I wonder how many experiences I\u2019ve let slip through my fingers, those crazy moments \u2013 both big and small \u2013 just to be \u201csensible\u201d, or at least that\u2019s how I saw it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I\u2019ve grown older, I\u2019ve learnt to make the most of the laughs in life, to say yes to a silly idea, to let myself get dragged off to somewhere I wasn\u2019t expecting to go or make a fool of myself by dunking my head in a trough, just because the water was so deliciously cold!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s raining and my hair\u2019s gone all frizzy. So what? Someone might disapprove and shake their head? That\u2019s their problem! I\u2019ve got loads to do at home? It\u2019ll still be there at the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carpe Diem!
