That was the right age for those kinds of adventures, or so people said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actually, I\u2019m the right age again now. The children have grown up and left home. So why turn down such an opportunity, all expenses paid? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So why am I hesitating? Well, because the employer is me. <br>I\u2019m questioning things that wouldn\u2019t even occur to me if I had a salaried job in a big company. I\u2019d jump straight on the plane. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019d completely brush aside any doubts like \u201cam I leaving my family in the lurch?\u201d or \u201cwhat will people say?\u201d   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your company offers you an opportunity for a major life change, it\u2019s easy to dump the responsibility on them.
